Benzene Fenceline Monitoring

The MAX300-AIRTM Environmental Gas Analyzer can measure fugitive benzene at < 0.6 µg/m3 (0.2 ppb).  Recent amendments to 40 CFR 60 and 63 have lowered the actionable level to 9.0 µg/m3 (2.8 ppb),  at this concentration Extrel mass spectrometers offer a real-time, fully automated solution with better than 99.9% accuracy.  

Air is pulled continuously from the sample points back to the MAX300-AIR for analysis. There is no need for personnel to manually collect samples, or send anything to an offsite lab, and real-time alerts of benzene transients are crucial for easily and accurately identifying the source.
