Extrel again joined the Western PA Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) and Pittsburgh Steeler Brett Keisel for 2012s 65 Roses Sports Auction to help raise funds for desperately needed cystic fibrosis research. Cystic fibrosis is a chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of children and adults. The event, held at McFaddens in Pittsburgh, allowed attendees to meet and get autographs from various Pittsburgh Steelers while participating in unique auctions and raffles. Extrel helped sponsor the event and our employees served on the Auction Committee, solicited donors, created raffles, and volunteered the night of the event. This successful event raised over $75,000 for CFF. For its work with CFF, Extrel received the CFF 2012 Corporate Engagement Award of Excellence.
